    Roger—Thank you for responding to my posting on CROWLEY. 

    I have a possible relative, Jeremiah Crowley (abt 1745-abt 1804) who married Evelyn Bohane. 

    Their son, Daniel Crowley (abt 1775-abt 1820) married Ellen Haley/Hurley.

    [The following couples were identified from family letters in the 1930s.]

    Daniel and Ellen’s daughter, Mary Crowley, married William Drummey of Cork about 1809.

    William and Mary had at least 5 children. 4 of them came to America and their descendants are known to me. These children were born around Upper/Lower Bellmount, near Crookstown, Moviddy Parish, West Cork. I have found birth certificates for 2 of them online.

    I descend from one of these children, Simon “Mike” Drummey. Simon and the other 3  came to America about 1850.

    Our DNA profiles don’t show anything to my eye—probably you are more knowledgeable in this. My GedMatch kit is HM4647048.

    The couple wed at St Columba’s Church, Douglas.

    Aoife purchased her dress from Vows in Blarney. Her shoes were from JJ-House, she wore a Tennis Bracelet from Keanes Jewellers, make-up was done by Niamh Murphy, hair was by Julie’s Hair Salon in Togher. The bridesmaids’ hair was done by Louise Goulding in Carrigaline.
